School Based Counselor
The Council on Addiction Prevention and Education (CAPE) of Dutchess County has multiple openings for full-time MSW or MHC to provide individual and group counseling and other substance use prevention, mental health, and wellness activities with adolescents in Dutchess County middle and high schools. The expected work schedule is in-person, Monday-Friday (8-hour day shift).
Approved employer for Student Loan Forgiveness Program and NYS Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery loan repayment program eligible (STAR). Health and vacation benefits and clinical supervision training provided.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree in a related field
· Completed degree/course work eligible for NYS LMSW, LMHC, LMFT or equivalent license
· Previous experience working with adolescents
· Valid driver’s license and reliable, daily access to a vehicle
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00
