SETT Data Coordinator

The Council on Addiction Prevention and Education (CAPE) of Dutchess County is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a part-time data coordinator. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our data and will be responsible for analyzing and implementing data management processes. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in evaluating environmental prevention strategies and measuring the associated processes and outcomes. They will ensure that all evaluative activities are culturally sensitive and aim to bridge any age, gender, cultural, racial, or institutional barriers using appropriate communications and methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

·         Exceptional organizational, oral, and written communication skills

·         Aptitude with websites, social media, computer applications (Microsoft Office/Outlook, Google Drive/Calendar), and virtual platforms (Zoom, TEAMS, Webex)

·         Ability to work independently and with a diverse group of people

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Collect and organize data from a variety of sources, such as law enforcement records, hospital records, and community indicators tied to social challenges like poverty and disorganization.  These indicators may include unemployment rates, usage statistics, and social determinants of health

·         Collect and analyze the most recent statistics on overdose incidents and substance use trends within the community

·         Develop and maintain data management processes and procedures

·         Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for improvements

·         Work in conjunction with the SETT Coalition Team as well as the Mid-Hudson Prevention Resource Center for collaboration and reporting purposes

·         Ensure that all evaluation efforts are culturally sensitive and will work to bridge any barriers related to age, gender, culture, race, or institutions by using clear and appropriate communication and methodologies

·         This individual will be required to attend meetings as necessary, and all other required duties in achieving and maintaining a successful coalition

Hourly Rate – $28.00 an hour

Hours Per Day/Week – 7 hours per week
